To achieve that recognition, in the past time, Captain Ho Canh Duong and his teammates have discovered, investigated, and clarified many drug storage, transportation, and illegal trading lines; arrested dozens of dangerous criminals. Particularly from the end of 2011 until now, Captain Ho Canh Duong has participated in the fight to successfully uncover 4 major cases.



The case of breaking up a drug ring from abroad through Dien Chau and then transferring it to the northern provinces at the end of 2011 was a typical example. In this case, the unit leader assigned him to approach the ringleader and bring him into the “net” to catch him red-handed. That subject was Vo Van Hoa, residing in Block 10, Do Luong Town, a criminal over 30 years old but with many cunning schemes.

However, after carefully studying the subject's psychology, Ho Canh Duong cleverly created a cover to approach the subject. By letting the detectives catch him red-handed while delivering 4 kg of crystal meth at a location in Luu Son commune (Do Luong). Searching the subject Hoa's house, the police seized 3.5 heroin cakes (over 1 kg) and some other related evidence.

Captain Ho Canh Duong always tries to complete any task assigned by his superiors despite many difficulties and hardships. Therefore, in the past time, he and his teammates have broken up many drug crime rings. Some of the major cases that he has contributed to successfully solving include the arrest of Le Duc Cuong and Nguyen The Hung, both residing in Cau Giat town, who seized 10 kg of marijuana; the arrest of Va Ba Danh and his son who were transporting 20 heroin cakes...

Along with the reconnaissance mission, as team leader and party cell secretary, he and the team leaders completed the assigned tasks. Therefore, for 5 years, Team 3's party cell was recognized as a "Strong and Clean Party Cell", and the team was repeatedly commended by the unit commander.
