In recent days, the sudden stop of the 18+ TV series 'Quynh Doll' after only 6 episodes has surprised many people. He confided: "As an artist who makes films, in addition to love for the profession, passion, and salary, we also want our products to reach the audience. In the first days of being shown, we witnessed the audience's response increasing day by day, there were many compliments and criticisms, but we all considered that as motivation to work. Up to today, the film crew continues to film the remaining parts in Quang Binh, no one gave up. There was also some turmoil, the brothers had their own sadness, but everyone believed that the film would soon be broadcast again. The best thing that 'Quynh Doll' created was the audience and the emotions it brought.".

The emotional and mental damage caused by the suspension of 'Quynh Doll' is real. However, it is difficult to measure the economic damage to 'Quynh Doll' because the film has not been banned and there is still hope of it returning to viewers.

Maybe when it airs again, the producer will choose to summarize the content of the 6 episodes that have been shown to broadcast before airing the remaining episodes ('Quynh Doll' is expected to have 30 episodes).

To be fair, 'Quynh Doll' is a film that realistically explores pressing social issues, especially sensitive topics such as prostitution and human trafficking that are rarely addressed directly and thoroughly in a feature film. Many scenes may be eye-catching but they reflect a part of the reality of life that 'Quynh Doll' does not want to avoid.

It's true that 'Quynh Doll' has too many violent scenes, but a movie about the criminal world must show viewers the tricks and horrifying images in that world.

In reality, there are many transnational prostitution rings in the world and many girls who have entered cannot escape. And 'Quynh Doll' has accurately reflected a part of this harsh world.

At the press conference for the movie 'Quynh Doll', director Do Thanh Hai - Director of VFC shared that this is a topic that VFC has been nurturing for 4-5 years to complete.

Meanwhile, the film's director, Meritorious Artist Mai Hong Phong, said he knows this topic is sensitive. If done superficially, it won't be convincing, but if done truthfully, it will be very sensitive.
