Cold air weakens, cool weather in the North, hot weather in the South

On May 6, the cold air mass in the northern provinces will gradually weaken, rain in the Northeast will decrease, only a few places will have sporadic rain at night and morning, the rain will stop in the afternoon, the morning and night will be chilly with the temperature around 21 degrees Celsius, cloudy during the day, cool with the highest temperature only at 28 degrees Celsius.

In the Northwest, the rain has stopped completely, and the temperature is still moderate, below 30 degrees Celsius. In Dien Bien, the weather is clear, with less clouds in the afternoon, light sunshine, and temperatures ranging from 27 to 29 degrees Celsius.

In the Central provinces, the cold air will weaken, from Thanh Hoa to Hue, the rain will decrease significantly, only in a few places, the daily temperature will fluctuate between 27 - 30 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, in the coastal provinces from Da Nang to Binh Thuan, the clouds will change, in the evening and at night there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places, sunny during the day, the daily temperature will be between 31 - 34 degrees Celsius.

The weather in the Central Highlands tends to be better, the afternoon thunderstorms are gone, it's sunny all day with temperatures ranging from 31 - 33 degrees Celsius.

The southern provinces will enter a new heat wave, the sun will appear from early morning, the level will be increasingly bright, the number of high temperature points of 36-37 degrees Celsius will increase. The heat will not only stop in the East but also extend to the western provinces such as Can Tho, Soc Trang. In the afternoon and evening, the eastern region will have thunderstorms, people need to be careful of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.

At sea, the cold air weakens, the wind in the Gulf of Tonkin gradually calms down, remaining at level 4-5. Offshore, including the Truong Sa and Hoang Sa archipelagos, the weather continues to be good, with level 4 winds, clear visibility of over 10 km, and calm seas./.
