On December 4th, the cold air mass was reported to be continuing its southward movement. Therefore, the Northern and North Central regions of Vietnam will continue to experience cold weather, with very cold temperatures in mountainous areas, and even frost in some places.

Northeast winds inland will gradually strengthen to level 3, and level 3-4 in coastal areas.

Northern Vietnam and North Central Vietnam will continue to experience cold weather, with intensely cold temperatures in mountainous areas, and in some places...severe coldDuring this cold spell, the lowest temperatures in the mountainous and midland areas of Northern Vietnam will generally range from 10-13 degrees Celsius, with some high mountainous areas experiencing temperatures below 5 degrees Celsius; in the plains of Northern Vietnam and North Central Vietnam, temperatures will range from 13-15 degrees Celsius.
At sea, from noon and afternoon of December 4th, in the Gulf of Tonkin, the northeast wind will gradually strengthen to level 6, sometimes level 7, with gusts of level 8-9; in the northern South China Sea (including the waters around the Hoang Sa archipelago), the northeast wind will be strong at level 6, then increase to level 7, with gusts of level 8-9; in the Gulf of Tonkin, sea waves will be 2.0-3.0m high; in the northern South China Sea, sea waves will be 3.0-5.0m high; the sea will be rough.
From late afternoon and night of December 4th, scattered rain is expected in the mountainous areas of Northern Vietnam. From the night of December 4th to 6th, the mountainous and midland areas of Northern Vietnam are likely to experience severe cold, with some areas experiencing extreme cold.
