Do not increase the number of job service centers until 2025
The Prime Minister has just issued Decision No. 1833/QD-TTg approving the Network Planning of Employment Service Centers for the 2016-2025 period.
Accordingly, the employment service centers are distributed as follows: 24 centers in the Northern midland and mountainous regions; 37 centers in the Red River Delta; 30 centers in the North Central and Central Coast regions; 5 centers in the Central Highlands; 14 centers in the Southeast region; 21 centers in the Mekong Delta region.

From now until 2025, do not increase the number of Employment Service Centers.
The Decision also sets the target that by 2020, 100% of workers coming to Employment Service Centers will receive job counseling and vocational training, of which 70% of workers introduced to find jobs will have successful job connections; at the same time, meeting 50% of employers' labor recruitment needs...
Regarding system organization and management, the Decision clearly states that the system of employment service centers will be improved to share information, strengthen the connection between labor supply and demand to ensure the best support for workers and employers, and increase employment opportunities for workers in the context of regional and global integration.
In addition, complete legal regulations on job service centers; policies on recruitment, use and working conditions for human resources working in job service.
At the same time, promote the implementation of the autonomous mechanism of employment service centers according to the provisions of law; the State budget pays for a number of employment service activities that do not have revenue according to regulations; use the Unemployment Insurance Fund to organize the implementation of unemployment insurance policies.
According to the Decision, the State shall invest in job service centers with focus; give priority to poor provinces that cannot balance their budgets; and at the same time mobilize other revenue sources to make concentrated and synchronous investments in job service centers according to the provisions of law; contributing to improving operational efficiency and gradually perfecting the labor market information system.
In addition, training and improving the capacity of the workforce working in employment services to meet the increasing demands of the labor market and regional and international integration; standardizing the workforce working in employment services through exams to obtain national vocational skills certificates.
At the same time, promote the application of information technology to ensure the connection between job service centers, businesses and training facilities through hiring information technology enterprises to provide services; diversify forms and methods and increase the sharing of labor market information to meet the needs of labor recruitment, job search, forecasting and training of human resources of the labor market.
