VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park attracts 50 projects with total capital of over 1.8 billion USD
After 9 years of operation, VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park has attracted 50 investment projects, including 30 FDI projects.
Among 30 FDI projects, there are 21 projects from Taiwan - Hong Kong - China, 3 from Japan, 2 from Singapore, 3 from Korea, and 1 from Sweden.
Currently, 31 projects have come into operation, initially creating jobs for more than 20,000 workers, 6 projects are under construction and 13 other projects are planned to be built in the coming years.
The total leased land area of the industrial park is 247.35 hectares, with an occupancy rate of 97%. The total investment capital in VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park is 1.809 billion USD (of which, secondary investors are 1.529 billion USD, VSIP Nghe An 1 is 279.9 million USD). It is expected that when all factories are put into operation, they will create jobs for about 70,000 workers.
Some outstanding projects with capital of hundreds of millions of USD have come into operation such as: Luxshare ICT Co., Ltd. (Nghe An) with total investment capital: 290 million USD (2 projects), investment field: Electronics, nearly 12,000 employees, revenue in 2023 about 8,000 billion VND; EVERWIN Precision Technology Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) with total investment capital: 309.68 million USD (2 projects), investment field: Precision mechanics, about 450 employees, coming into operation in 2024.
There are also: LUXCASE Technology Co., Ltd. (Vietnam), invested 473 million USD. The investment fields are electronics and precision mechanics. Expected to be operational in 2025, creating jobs for about 1,000 people; Project of Luxshare Technology Co., Ltd. (Vietnam), total investment capital of 35 million USD, electronics sector, expected to be operational in 2025, expected to create jobs for about 1,500 people; Project of Luxvisions Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (Nghe An), total investment capital of 60 million USD, also assembling electronics, expected to be operational in 2025, creating jobs for about 1,500 people; The project of MERRY&LUXSHARE Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) has an investment capital of 40 million USD, attracting about 3,500 people, revenue in 2023 of about 2,000 billion VND, also electronic assembly.
Meanwhile, Tho Loc Industrial Park (VSIP 2 Nghe An) has 10 secondary investors registering to invest in Nghe An.
