The road has been opened but there are no bridges, sewers, leveled land, drainage systems, or electricity lines. However, we see that some households have moved their houses into temporary settlements around the resettlement area. Currently, Mr. La Van Ty's family and many other households have moved to the resettlement area to live.
Mr. Lu Van Diep in Huoi Mac village confided: Huoi Mac is located along Thoi stream, the recent floods have been very fierce, flash floods can happen at any time, we just hope to be relocated to the resettlement area as soon as possible.
Mr. Vi Dinh Tuyen - Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Khe - Con Cuong commune said: This resettlement area is for 60 households of 3 villages Pieng Khu, Huoi Mac, Khe Thoi, mainly located along Khe Thoi with high risk of flash floods. Therefore, the commune hopes that the State will pay attention and invest so that people can soon move to the resettlement area to stabilize their lives.

People go to resettlement areas to collect firewood to sell for a living.
Households on the outskirts of Khe Thoi are facing landslides and flash floods and are hoping to be relocated to resettlement areas soon.
