Terrorists attack Pakistan airport, 50 people dead and injured
Xinhua News Agency/AFP quoted hospital and Pakistani media sources as saying that on the evening of December 15, at least 10 people were killed and more than 40 injured when unidentified militants attacked an airport in the northwestern city of Peshawar.
According to media reports, the attack occurred at 8:30 p.m. local time when a series of explosions were heard one after another at Bacha Khan International Airport.

Geo TV said five rockets were fired at the airport. Other reports said the militants attacked a police checkpoint outside the airport before entering the building. An official was quoted as saying the target of the attack was the nearby air base.
