Kia Sedona 2015 special version for Vietnam has appeared

Less than 8 months after its first debut at the 2014 New York Auto Show (April 2014), on January 15, 2015, the 2015 Kia Sedona officially arrived in Vietnam.

Kia Sedona 2015 is a 7-seat car, in the MPV family car segment, first launched at the New York auto show in April 2014. In some markets such as Europe, Kia Sedona 2015 is also known as Carnival.

Sedona imported to Vietnam includes 2 versions of gasoline and diesel engines, in which the highest-end version will be integrated with many features such as lane warning, blind spot warning, 3-zone automatic dual-zone air conditioning system with integrated ion filter, 2 sunroofs, rear camera, 6 airbags and entertainment system with 8 high-end Infinity speakers arranged throughout the body of the car.

Currently, the selling price and detailed product information of Kia Sedona has not been disclosed by Thaco.

Kia Sedona is a large family car with up to 8 seats, the design and proportions are similar to CUV but provide all the best utilities and features of a large MPV. The front of the Kia Sedona is designed very beautifully and modernly with strong lines, a large radiator grille and impressive headlights. The 2015 Kia Sedona has a wheelbase 40 mm longer than the old version. Thanks to that, the space inside the car is significantly expanded, especially the back seats.

The Kia Sedona offers flexible seating arrangements and plenty of convenient storage space. The second row of seats can move and swivel. In addition, users can also fold down the last two rows of seats to expand the luggage compartment. The legroom for the rear seats is also very spacious.

In the US, the 2015 Kia Sedona uses a new 3.3-liter V6 engine, replacing the old 3.5-liter V6. The new engine produces a maximum capacity of 276 horsepower thanks to the direct fuel injection system. Power is transmitted to the wheels through a standard 6-speed automatic transmission. According to the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the 2015 Kia Sedona consumes 13.07 liters of fuel per 100 km in the city and 9.8 liters per 100 km on the highway. It is not yet clear which type of Diesel engine the company is bringing to Vietnam.
