Land inventory, mapping of current land use status in 2014
(Baonghean) - To implement Directive No. 21/CT-TTg dated August 1, 2014 of the Prime Minister on land inventory and mapping of current land use status in 2014.
On October 27, the Provincial People's Committee issued a plan to conduct land inventory and map the current land use status in 2014 across the province, with the aim of accurately assessing the current land use status of each administrative unit at commune, district and provincial levels by December 31, 2014; as a basis for assessing the land management situation in the past 5 years and proposing mechanisms, policies and measures to strengthen state management of land and improve land use efficiency, especially the establishment, management and implementation of land use planning and plans in the period 2016 - 2020; providing information and data to build statistical yearbooks at all levels and serving the land information needs for socio-economic activities, national defense, security, scientific research and other needs of the State and society. The land inventory and mapping of current land use status in 2014 must be closely inspected and monitored during the implementation process; special attention must be paid to the appraisal of the implementation results of all stages, at all levels, especially the implementation at the commune level to ensure the quality requirements and honesty of the inventory data; implementation must be within the time required by Directive No. 21/CT-TTg and regulations of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
Regarding the time of inventory and completion deadline at each level, based on Directive 21/CT-Tg, the time of inventory of current land use status in 2014 is implemented uniformly nationwide until December 31, 2014. The deadline for completion and reporting of results of inventory of current land use status in 2014 is stipulated as follows: Commune level completes and reports results before June 1, 2015; district level completes and reports results before July 15, 2015; provincial level completes and reports results before September 1, 2015.
The Provincial People's Committee also requested the directors of departments, heads of provincial-level departments and branches, chairmen of the People's Committees of districts, Vinh City, towns and the Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone; chairmen of the People's Committees of communes, wards and towns to organize the implementation of land inventory, create a map of current land use in 2014 according to the plan, ensuring quality requirements. During the implementation process, if there are any problems, they should be promptly reported to the Provincial Land Inventory Steering Committee (through the Department of Natural Resources and Environment) for direction, guidance and coordination in resolving.
