Checking compliance with discipline and administrative discipline in Anh Son district
(Baonghean.vn) - On September 8, 2014, the provincial interdisciplinary inspection team led by Mr. Pham Hong Son, Deputy Chief Inspector of the province, continued to inspect the implementation of Directive 17-CT/TU in Anh Son district.

In Anh Son district, the delegation inspected the departments under the district People's Committee and conducted a field survey at the People's Committee of Anh Son town and Duc Son commune. Based on the inspection, the delegation found that Anh Son district has implemented and complied quite well with the content of Directive 17 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. Specifically, in addition to organizing the dissemination and implementation for civil servants and party members, the district has issued documents directing and implementing Directive 17. Even before Directive 17, Anh Son district had Directive 12/HU dated December 27, 2012 on not drinking alcohol in the morning, during office hours and at lunchtime and organized district-level civil servants to sign a commitment not to violate. Next, after Directive 17 was issued, the district established 5 teams to conduct surprise inspections, from the beginning of 2014 until now and has inspected 16/21 communes, on that basis, notified each unit, regularly organized weekly inspections to rectify and remind of violations...

In general, up to now, according to the report of the District People's Committee, the team of civil servants has complied well with the requirements of Directive 17, significantly reduced the situation of drinking alcohol at noon, no longer drinking alcohol and smoking during working hours at the office; the vast majority of agencies have institutionalized the new requirements of Directive 17 into the agency's internal regulations; the majority of civil servants wear badges and comply with working hours; the functional working rooms are arranged neatly, suitable to the physical conditions of the agency and in accordance with regulations.

However, through the inspection, the delegation also found that the district's implementation and enforcement of Directive 17 still had some shortcomings and limitations. Specifically, the work of keeping records of the implementation of Directive 17 was not strictly ensured; the district People's Committee and communes had not issued regulations on office culture according to the Government's regulations; a number of cadres and civil servants were still late for work; some communes had not arranged a suitable one-stop transaction department; civil servants of some specialized departments had not strictly complied with the regulations on wearing badges; the offices of the Department of Natural Resources and the Land Use Rights Registration Office were still makeshift and cramped; the national flag was not appropriately arranged at the commune headquarters; the implementation of the content of Directive 17 down to the hamlet and village levels was not complete...

Based on the inspection results, the representative of the inspection team fully informed the district leaders of the content; at the same time, requested the district to organize the correction to overcome the existing problems in the coming time.
