Inspecting the propaganda and dissemination of law in Quy Hop

(Baonghean.vn) - On September 22, the monitoring delegation of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province led by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Nguyen - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province worked with Quy Hop district on propaganda, dissemination and education of law; grassroots mediation and legal aid in the area.

After 5 years (2011 - 2015) of implementing the propaganda and dissemination of legal education, Quy Hop district has achieved the following outstanding results: Opening 31 training classes attracting 3,720 participants with the subjects being reporters, legal propagandists, and civic education teachers of schools; opening 28 classes to propagate newly issued laws in mountainous communes for commune, hamlet, and village officials and 1,590 mediators of hamlets and villages. Maintaining the operation of 11 legal clubs. Currently, 21 communes and towns are managing and using 31 legal bookcases.

The district has 277 mediation teams, which have received 1,153 cases in 5 years, of which 821 cases were successfully mediated. For unsuccessful mediation cases, the mediators guide the transfer to the competent authority to avoid the situation of complaints going beyond the level and prolonged complaints among the people.

The results achieved in 5 years of implementing the work of propagating and disseminating legal education in Quy Hop district, especially in remote areas, have demonstrated comprehensive attention from the district to the grassroots. Thanks to that, awareness of the law and sense of law compliance among officials and people have been raised, strictly complying with the provisions of the law./.
