Surprise inspection of administrative discipline in Tuong Duong

(Baonghean.vn) - On July 3, the inspection team for compliance with administrative discipline according to Directive 26-CT/TTg led by Comrade Bui Dinh Sang - Chief Inspector of the Department of Home Affairs conducted a surprise inspection in Tuong Duong.

Before working with the People's Committee of Tuong Duong district, in the late morning and early afternoon, the delegation inspected the Office, departments, district offices, Yen Na commune People's Committee and Hoa Binh town People's Committee. Through the inspection, the delegation found that the district had paid attention to directing and implementing Directive 17 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Directive 26-CT/TTg of the Prime Minister on rectifying administrative discipline and working style and manners of civil servants. Specifically, along with regularly urging and reminding relevant departments, departments and commune People's Committees to seriously implement the spirit of the above Directives, the District People's Committee established inspection and urging delegations in 9/18 communes and towns.

In addition, in the context that the District People's Committee's office is being renovated and some departments and offices have to be moved to the Electricity Branch, the district has established a monitoring book and regularly checked the compliance with working hours of civil servants of the departments; strictly maintained the prohibition of drinking alcohol and beer during working hours and lunch breaks.

Checking the situation in the early afternoon at Yen Na commune and late afternoon at Hoa Binh town, although it is an inner commune, nearly 40 km from the town, the civil servants of Yen Na commune were all present, working seriously, with name and title signs; the commune and town have quite spacious offices, the People's Committees of the two localities have developed a Code of Conduct for civil servants; Regulations on assigning tasks at the People's Committee office; Regulations on office culture; Regulations on receiving people and handling cases at the one-stop department...

However, the actual inspection at district-level departments and offices shows that, due to the arrangement of working in two places, the ability to supervise civil servants is quite difficult; some civil servants are still absent during working hours; in the first 6 months of 2017, a teacher was arrested for gambling; in Yen Na commune, although all administrative procedures are publicly posted, some sets of procedures have expired but have not been replaced; the schedule for receiving people has not been made public at the headquarters; the administrative headquarters of Yen Na commune has not yet worn the National Emblem; the facilities and working equipment at the one-stop department of Hoa Binh town have not met the requirements.

Based on the actual inspection, the delegation made a record, reminded and discussed the situation with the leaders of Tuong Duong District People's Committee and will have an official Notice of inspection results sent to the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee.
