Check the operation of Nam Dan District People's Council

According to the assessment, the socio-economic situation in the first 9 months of 2013 of Nam Dan district is basically stable. The proportion of agriculture continues to decrease, the proportion of industry, small-scale industry - construction and services - trade increases. The budget revenue in the first 9 months increased by 22% compared to the same period, equal to 64% of the assigned estimate. The district has also focused on directing investment attraction for high-tech industrial projects; Nam Dan - Hanosimex textile factory in Nam Giang commune; high-tech pig farm in Nam Hung commune...; organized the dissolution of the old cooperative model and established 23 new cooperatives in the form of shareholders and operating in accordance with the law.

The cultural and social fields continued to have positive changes, in which the number of schools meeting national standards increased to 41 and 5 more schools met the criteria of "Friendly schools, active students". The work of handling complaints and denunciations of citizens was taken care of. In 9 months, 260 citizens were received; 64 petitions and reflections of citizens related to land, policies and some other areas were received and processed. The above results have the contribution of the People's Councils at the district and commune levels. The activities of the District People's Council continued to be innovated and improved in quality, reflected in all activities of organizing meetings; supervision and survey activities; contacting voters; receiving people and resolving voters' petitions and reflections...

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son highly appreciated the efforts of the district and suggested that Nam Dan continue to pay attention to economic restructuring, attracting investment, increasing budget revenue; promoting the implementation of the national target program on new rural construction.
