Comprehensive inspection of border work in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - In order to inspect and evaluate the Border Guard activities at Nghe An Border Guard, from October 27 to 28, the Border Guard Command's working delegation led by Major General Pham Song Hong, Deputy Commander, conducted a comprehensive inspection of the border guard activities at Nghe An Border Guard.

The working group inspected the reality at Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station.

The inspection team of the Border Guard Command conducted inspections in 6 specialized fields including politics, staff, reconnaissance, drug crime prevention, logistics and engineering at Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station; Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station; Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port Border Guard Station and the headquarters. After two days of serious and strict work, the head of the inspection team, Major General Pham Song Hong, Deputy Commander of the Border Guard, highly appreciated the results achieved by Nghe An Border Guard. Notably, the work of grasping the internal and external situation, the work of building political bases; the work of fighting against all types of cross-border crimes... ensuring the maintenance of national sovereignty, security and borders.

However, Major General Pham Song Hong and members of the inspection team also pointed out the limitations that Nghe An Border Guard needs to overcome soon: Training regular discipline in units such as internal affairs, military style must be synchronous and unified; Strengthening regular training work; Completing the system of signs, boards, and orders in some units to ensure compliance with general regulations...

Through the inspection, the Deputy Commander of the Border Guard emphasized that the border of Nghe An province is a key area in terms of security, order and crimes. Therefore, the Border Guard of Nghe An is the core force in protecting the sovereignty and security of the border and must always be united and unified internally to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
