In 2017, the Provincial Military Command performed well its advisory role to local Party committees and authorities in organizing and strictly implementing orders and directives of the Military Region, and performing well military and defense tasks, including many outstanding contents such as: Building combat facilities to serve drills and organizing drills in the provincial defense area, which were highly appreciated by the Military Region 4 Command; closely coordinating with forces, police, and border guards to grasp the situation at the grassroots level, especially the border and islands;

Maintain a serious combat readiness regime; accurately forecast the situation; coordinate with staff to effectively resolve issues arising from the grassroots; recruit soldiers and train military and national defense knowledge for the subjects; build the grassroots and implement the movement "joining hands to build new rural areas"; Do a good job of mass mobilization, proactively do a good job of preventing and overcoming damage caused by storms No. 2 and No. 10 in the province.
