(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 28, the Traffic Police Team of Quynh Luu district coordinated with the police of Cau Giat town to launch the second phase of clearing the traffic safety corridor in the town, resolutely handling households that deliberately re-encroached on the road traffic corridor and sidewalk.

Cau Giat town has 550 business households along both sides of National Highway 1A and routes 537B and National Highway 48B. Recently, the police force of Quynh Luu district has been mobilized to clear the corridor, remind and make records of households violating the regulations on encroaching on sidewalks and roadsides for business and hanging advertising signs.

However, businesses still have a coping mentality. When there is an inspection force, they quickly clean up, but immediately after that, they display objects, place advertising signs, and gather construction materials on traffic safety corridors and sidewalks, causing loss of urban beauty and obstructing traffic safety visibility.

During the second clearance campaign, the police force resolutely dealt with the re-encroaching households, drastically removed and recovered dozens of illegally placed advertising signs, and seized many items of businesses selling on the sidewalk.

Authorities remind households to clean up their goods displayed on the sidewalk.

During the campaign, the police force also signed a commitment not to re-encroach with business households. If there are repeat violations, administrative sanctions will be taken according to the law.
