In an interview with France 24 TV channel, Mr. Poroshenko noted that German Chancellor Angela Merkel had proposed holding such a meeting.
"Of course, we will participate in the 'Norman format' meeting at the level of political advisers, and during this meeting we will raise urgent issues, demanding that the Russian Federation return our servicemen, ships and open the Kerch Strait," the presidential press service quoted Poroshenko as saying.
Mr Poroshenko also said he would be happy to "stop martial law", but on condition that Russia "withdraws its troops stationed on the Ukrainian-Russian border and removes a large number of warships from the Sea of Azov".
