Nghe Tinh specialty business is among top startup ideas

Therefore, if you do business alone, without support, it will be very difficult to develop. Therefore, with the desire to connect young people with the same aspirations and aspirations to start a business, in early 2017, Mr. Duc proposed to the Provincial Youth Union and the Nghe An Youth Union to support and establish the Nghe An Agricultural and Youth Service Cooperative to build a start-up movement among young people in general, and young people in rural areas in particular.

The Cooperative will organize tours to learn directly from typical economic development models in and outside the province; survey and study market demand and consumption output for agricultural products and food.

Currently, the cooperative attracts 13 regular members; each member is a young person with an economic model generating hundreds of millions of dong in revenue each year.

Mr. Tran Huu Duc shared: “The support of Youth Union and Association organizations, especially for rural youth, is very meaningful, not only helping to create an important initial source of capital but also encouraging and connecting young people with aspirations to establish themselves, start a business, and enrich themselves, their families and their hometowns.”

Tran Thi Thuy Hang - former student of the Faculty of Economics, Vinh University and her colleagues brought to the competition the project: "Business of Nghe Tinh specialties". In the near future, they will establish a business company, realizing the idea to both create jobs for themselves and solve employment problems for society.

“Nghe An has many unique specialties, but there is no systematic connection. We assess that this business sector still has a lot of potential, suitable for the orientation of promoting and developing tourism in the province and also solving the output for farmers' products” - Hang shared.

Although this is the first time the "Startup Ideas and Projects" contest for young people in Nghe An province has been organized, it has quickly received the attention and attraction of many young people with very diverse ideas and projects, demonstrating the ability to start a business in many fields, representing the dynamic and creative spirit of Nghe An youth.

Specifically, after 6 months of launching and implementing the project across the province, more than 100 ideas have participated in the competition and 51 ideas have been selected to participate in the preliminary round. Coming to the competition, authors with ideas and startup projects have the opportunity to exchange, present their thoughts and arguments to bring creative ideas to reality, and also listen to the views, comments and suggestions of experts on solutions to support youth startups.

After evaluating 19 ideas that entered the final round, the Organizing Committee selected 8 excellent groups for the final round, of which the Investment Economics major, Faculty of Economics, Vinh University had 5/8 startup projects entering the final round. The awards will be presented on July 7.
