Signing of cooperation agreement on security and order protection between Nghe An and Xieng Khouang

In Cua Lo Town, two delegations of Nghe An Provincial Police and Border Guard and Xieng Khouang Provincial Police held the 20th Security and Order Conference. Attending were comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee.

The conference assessed the results of information exchange on the general security and order situation, border security in particular, related to the two provinces; coordination in protecting important political and social events of the two countries, and coordination in creating favorable conditions for officials, people, businesses, and tourists to visit relatives, travel, exchange, study, work, exchange goods, etc. The activities have contributed to the economic, cultural, and social development between the two provinces in particular and Vietnam and Laos in general.

At the conference, representatives of the two delegations signed the 20th cooperation agreement on security and order protection. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Lao PDR's security forces, representatives of the Lao Ministry of Public Security presented commemorative medals to 36 comrades who are key leaders of the Nghe An Provincial Police and Border Guard.
