Signing contract for construction package of Tan Thang Cement Factory

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of August 6 in Hanoi, Tan Thang Cement Joint Stock Company held a contract signing ceremony for the package "Providing design, equipment, materials and technical services for the main production line" for the investment project to build Tan Thang Cement Factory in Quynh Luu - Nghe An province.

Attending the event were comrades Nguyen Tran Nam - Deputy Minister of Construction; Vu Tien Loc - Chairman of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and representatives of the Government Office, relevant ministries and branches. On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ho Ngoc Sy - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and leaders of all levels and branches in the province.

Leaders of Tan Thang Cement Joint Stock Company reported on the project implementation process.

Tan Thang Cement Factory Project invested by Tan Thang Cement Joint Stock Company, with a kiln capacity of 5,000 tons of clinker/day, equivalent to 2 million tons of cement/year, was built in Tan Thang commune, Quynh Luu district (with a total investment of over 3,600 billion VND) with advanced technology, modern and synchronous equipment from the EU and G7 countries.

Through international bidding, the project has selected contractors to supply equipment, materials and technical services for construction and installation of the main production line, namely Bendesichi SPA - Italy to supply crushing, transportation and storage equipment for raw materials; Contractor Thuyssenkrupp Resource technologies GmbH - Germany to supply raw material crushing and coal grinding equipment, Clinker kiln system; Contractor Have & Boeccker - Germany to supply cement grinding and quantitative equipment; and Contractor ABB - Switzerland to supply electrical equipment, measurement, control and automation for the entire production line.

Thanks to the application of advanced and modern production technology (2-support rotary kiln technology), Tan Thang Cement will save energy, ensure environmental protection criteria, and meet the highest quality products when exported to the market. The total contract value (EP) of the packages is over 93.3 million USD.

Speaking at the ceremony, leaders of the Ministry of Construction and the People's Committee of Nghe An province acknowledged the efforts of the investor in implementing the project. The Ministry of Construction and Nghe An province will create favorable conditions for the project to be constructed on schedule.

The investor and contractor signed a contract for equipment supply.
