Signing of the Regulations on coordination of work between the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee and the Party Delegation of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee

On the afternoon of December 16, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee and the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province held a signing ceremony for the Regulations on coordination of work between the Party Delegation of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.

Attending the ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Ho Le Ngoc - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee. Also attending were Deputy Heads of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, Vice Chairwomen of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee; and leaders of the departments and offices of the two agencies.

The report on the preliminary assessment of 5 years of implementing the Regulations on coordination of work between the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee and the Provincial Fatherland Front Party Delegation for the period 2017-2021 shows that: The two agencies have supported each other, creating favorable conditions to better perform the functions and tasks of each side.

In particular, the coordination work with the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Judicial Reform Steering Committee on many important policies on internal affairs, anti-corruption and anti-negativity, and promoting the role of supervision and social criticism of the Provincial Fatherland Front, actively contributing to improving the effectiveness of anti-corruption and anti-negativity work.

The two sides regularly exchange and provide information and documents related to coordination content; advise the Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee to lead and direct local Party committees and authorities and functional agencies to promptly resolve a number of cases related to religion; work on receiving citizens, handling petitions and letters.

Through the implementation of the Coordination Regulations, the relationship between the two agencies and between the departments and divisions of the two agencies has become increasingly closer and more cohesive.

At the conference, the two units also frankly pointed out the limitations and some contents in the coordination regulations that have not been fully implemented, often affecting the operational efficiency of each agency.

Through evaluating the results, limitations, drawing lessons, and coordinating in the 2017-2021 period, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee and the Party Delegation of the Fatherland Front of Nghe An province signed a Regulation on coordination of work between the Party Delegation of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee for the 2022-2026 period, more comprehensively and effectively.

In particular, the two agencies continue to strengthen coordination in advising the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee on policies and laws on internal affairs, anti-corruption, anti-negativity, judicial reform; promote the role of supervision and social criticism of the Fatherland Front at all levels.

Coordinate the inspection and supervision of the implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws on internal affairs, anti-corruption, anti-negativity, and judicial reform. At the same time, coordinate to do better in grasping the situation, advising on handling political situations, outstanding issues related to national security, religion, ethnicity; major corruption and negativity cases that are of public concern.

The two sides also increased information exchange and propaganda orientation on handling serious and complicated corruption and negative cases that are of public interest; promoted new and typical factors in preventing corruption and negative cases; and fought against and refuted the wrong arguments of hostile forces./.
