However, that is not the only attraction of this pond located next to Ta Lam dike. Every year, when the weather changes, the fish in Ao Lo all "fall into the water" and die. | The area of Lo pond used to be the rice fields of Thai Binh hamlet along the Ta Lam dike section through Vinh city (now block 5, 6 of Ben Thuy ward). The flood in 1978 caused the dike system to break, causing major erosion, forming Lo pond. According to Mr. Nguyen Ho Thang, the contractor of the pond, the area of the pond is about 10 hectares, including 3 small ponds and 1 large pond. The water of the pond is very clean, always full of water in all 4 seasons and there is no wastewater discharge system around, except for domestic wastewater. |

| According to local people, 2 days ago (May 15), about 1 ton of dead fish floated on the surface of the water at Lo pond. Some weighed up to 7 or 8 kg and died. Immediately afterwards, the owner of the pond collected the dead fish and cleaned up the environment. |
