Attending were comrades: Nguyen Xuan Son, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Pham Anh Tuan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, along with representatives of a number of departments, branches and officials of Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union through the periods.

Established on July 12, 2000, through 3 congresses, Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union is gradually developing. The union currently directly manages 44 establishments with 3,513 union members. Throughout its operation, the union at all levels has closely followed the functions and tasks of the union organization and implemented its objectives.

The Trade Union and grassroots trade unions have participated in management, administrative reform, implemented grassroots democracy regulations, cared for and protected the legitimate rights and interests of civil servants and public employees. Effectively implemented emulation movements launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; performed well the work of developing union members, participating in Party building, mobilizing female civil servants and public employees to be "good at public affairs and good at home affairs" and actively participate in social activities.
In 15 years, grassroots trade unions have carried out nearly 1,400 scientific projects, including 36 at the ministerial, sectoral and central levels; mobilized nearly 10 billion VND to support the fund to eliminate dilapidated thatched houses, support heroic Vietnamese mothers, support poor workers... Over 90% of units achieved the title of Excellent Strong Grassroots Trade Union.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council highly appreciated the results that Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union has achieved in the past time. He hoped that in the coming time, the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union would be more proactive in participating in implementing the grassroots democracy regulations, reforming administrative procedures; improving the quality of the campaign to build "loyal, creative, dedicated, exemplary" civil servants and public employees, considering human resources as the decisive factor for development; It is necessary to build an apparatus in agencies and units to ensure discipline, administrative discipline, maximize democracy and intelligence; focus on innovating the content and methods of Trade Union activities in accordance with the type of agency, meeting the requirements of the tasks of agencies and units.
