Celebrating the 25th anniversary of Nguyen Truong To High School
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 16, nearly 1,500 staff, teachers and students of Nguyen Truong To High School solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the school's founding and the Vietnamese Teachers' Charter Day on November 20.
Also attending were Mr. Tran Cong Duong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chief of the Provincial Party Office; representatives of departments and branches and many generations of teachers and students leaders through the periods.
Nguyen Truong To High School officially came into operation in September 1988 to experiment with the research topic "universalizing culture, combining vocational education for high school graduates in Vinh city".
From a new educational model, after 25 years of construction and development, generations of cadres, teachers, staff and students of the school have persistently strived to overcome many difficulties to build the school into a bright spot in the education sector, a leading bird in the system of non-public educational institutions of the province.
Over the past 25 years, nearly 12,000 high school graduates have been born, including 548 provincial-level excellent students, 3 national excellent students, and thousands of students passing entrance exams to universities, colleges, and vocational high schools.
With its achievements, the School was honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal and many other noble Certificates of Merit from the President, the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Education and Training.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Provincial People's Committee, comrade Tran Cong Duong presented the school with a banner with the words: "Nguyen Truong To High School, 25 years of solidarity, innovation and development for the cause of educating the next generation". The Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to the school and 6 individuals with outstanding achievements in education.
