30th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Faculty of National Defense Education (Vinh University)

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of December 21, Vinh University held a ceremony to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Faculty of National Defense Education and the 10th anniversary of the Vinh Center for National Defense Education and Security. Attending the ceremony were Associate Professor Dr. Dinh Xuan Khoa - Principal of the school.

With the function and task of developing a national defense education plan, fostering national defense knowledge for full-time students; organizing military pedagogical research, compiling reference textbooks and documents on national defense education, the Faculty of National Defense Education has successfully completed the task of educating knowledge on national defense science and national security in schools. From 2003 to now, the Faculty of National Defense Education, now the Vinh National Defense Education Center, has trained nearly 500 high school teachers in the fields of physical education, national defense education, political defense, national defense and national security, and trained 17 short-term national defense education teacher courses, with nearly 1,200 high school teachers participating, contributing with Vinh University to realize the goal of comprehensive education for generations of students, ready to carry out the two strategic tasks of building and defending the Fatherland.

On this occasion, the Center had 3 groups and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in education and training receiving certificates of merit from the Prime Minister. The Ministry of National Defense awarded a Certificate of Merit to the Vinh National Defense Education Center.
