Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of Military School of Military Region 4

(Baonghean.vn)-On January 26, 2016, Military School of Military Region 4 held a ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of its tradition (February 11, 1946 - February 11, 2016).

General Phung Quang Thanh, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense sent a congratulatory letter to the officers, teachers and students of the School. Attending the ceremony were Major General Tran Tien Dung, Standing Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of the Army; Head of the Military Region 4 Command; retired generals and senior officers of the Ministry of National Defense, Military Region; officers and teachers of the School through the periods.

After 70 years of construction, fighting and growing up, especially in the two resistance wars against the invaders, in the conditions of lacking facilities, organization, staff, and teachers of Military School of Military Region 4 always strive, stay close to the battlefield, stay close to reality, actively research, innovate teaching methods; train and foster tens of thousands of cadres to serve the battlefields. Military School of Military Region 4 has deployed the application of information technology in teaching; actively consolidated and upgraded the lecture hall system, renewed the training ground system, 3D electronic infantry shooting practice room, contributing to improving the quality of training.

Major General Tran Tien Dung, Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Region, presented a banner with the words "Promoting heroic traditions, solidarity, innovation, good teaching, good learning" to the school's board of directors.

Over the years, 100% of the students have completed their tasks well, of which over 95% have achieved good or excellent results. With many achievements, Military School of Military Region 4 has been awarded many noble prizes by the Party and the State, especially in 2011, Military School of Military Region 4 was awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces.
