Ky Son: Providing rice support for students

(Baonghean.vn) - In the 2015-2016 school year, Ky Son district has 21 schools supported with rice according to Decision 36/2013/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister. The total amount of rice supported in the first semester is 196 tons.

The beneficiaries of rice subsidies include: primary and secondary school students studying at ethnic minority boarding schools; boarding students studying at public primary and secondary schools in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions; ethnic minority students whose parents or legal guardians have permanent residence in communes or villages with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions, who do not enjoy boarding benefits, whose houses are far from school or whose terrain is difficult to travel to and from school during the day...

Students of Nam Can Secondary School (Ky Son) transfer rice to support

This amount of rice is taken from the national reserve, with each student receiving 15kg/month. During this period, the People's Committee of Ky Son district coordinated with the district's Department of Education and Training to divide it into 2 phases to distribute at the beginning of each semester. The schools that received the most support were Ky Son High School, Nam Tip Secondary School, Na Ngoi Secondary School, etc.
