Ky Son has 417 effective economic development models.

(Baonghean.vn) - At the conference to evaluate economic development models in the 2011-2016 period of Ky Son district held on December 6, 417 economic models of this remote district were assessed to have good efficiency.

The Shan Tuyet tea growing model is being deployed and replicated by the district in the two communes of Huoi Tu and Na Ngoi.

Accordingly, in the period of 2011-2016, with the attention and financial support from the State budget, programs, sponsoring organizations and mobilizing resources in the community, Ky Son district has built and maintained 417 effective economic development models. Specifically, there are 258 livestock models, 156 general economic models, and 3 crop models.

Livestock farming is a strength in household economic development in Ky Son.

However, at the conference, delegates commented that the number of models in Ky Son is large but the ability to replicate is low. Besides, there is still a mentality of waiting and relying on people. Resource mobilization is facing many difficulties while the work of evaluating and summarizing practices has not been implemented promptly.

To overcome the above limitations, the district needs to have timely directions to avoid the situation where after the pilot is successful, if the State does not continue to invest, the models will no longer exist. In addition, many opinions say that the State needs to have policies to support spontaneous models that bring sustainable economic efficiency and are suitable for practical conditions.
