district office elections.
Mr. Kha Van Quyen, Chairman of the People's Committee of Huu Kiem commune, inspected the work.
preparation at the polling stations.
Ky Son is a particularly difficult mountainous district of Nghe An province, with many communes far from the district center, many villages far from the commune center, and difficult roads. Therefore, in order to promptly summarize the election results of the 13th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2011-2016 term, the Election Committee of the 13th National Assembly and the Nghe An Provincial People's Council for the 2011-2016 term decided to let Ky Son district organize early elections in 105 polling stations in 11 remote communes of the district (including the communes: Keng Du, Doc May, Na Loi, My Ly, Bac Ly, Bao Thang, Muong Long, Muong Tip, Muong Ai, Nam Can, Na Ngoi) on May 20; the remaining 9 communes and 1 town of Ky Son district will hold elections on May 22.
Billboards, posters and slogans are hung all over major roads, in front of offices and in village lanes.
To prepare for a successful election, Ky Son district attaches great importance to election propaganda work in both breadth and depth. Especially in ethnic minority areas, election officials combine propaganda in both the common language and the local language in meetings, film screenings, cultural and artistic performances so that voters of all ages can understand correctly. Since the beginning of March, Ky Son district has organized 4 large-scale propaganda campaigns to all people in the district. The whole district has 37,366 voters who will vote in both rounds.
The polling places were lavishly decorated.

In addition, Ky Son district also issued an official dispatch instructing on hanging banners, slogans to propagate the election and hanging the national flag in families. For communes in remote areas where people work far away, the district has directed the communes to hold meetings with village chiefs to propagate and disseminate to each family to vote on the scheduled date. Along with that, documents, forms, stamps... have been sent to the communes by the district. Training courses for election officials have also been organized according to the motto "holding hands and showing them how to do it" to help them be proactive in election work.

The work of ensuring political security and social order and safety for the early election day has been planned very closely. The district's functional agencies are focusing on final checks, grasping the situation in the constituencies and polling stations to detect problems and take timely measures to resolve them; not allowing polling stations to lack or not ensure facilities (ballot boxes, seals, documents, forms...). With such careful preparation, Ky Son district is ready for the early election day on May 20 and the national election day on May 22.
