Ky Son overcomes the consequences of the fire at Muong Xen market
(Baonghean) -As reported, at around 1 a.m. on September 19, a large fire broke out in the clothing kiosk area of Muong Xen temporary market (Muong Xen town, Ky Son district, Nghe An).
Upon receiving the news, the People's Committee of Ky Son district mobilized the police, military, border guards, militia and local people (about 500 people) to participate in extinguishing the fire. After more than 1 hour, the fire was completely extinguished, ensuring the safety of 4 rows of neighboring kiosks. However, an entire row of kiosks including 18 stalls selling clothes, stationery, and household appliances was completely burned down, with estimated damage of about 3 billion VND. The fire broke out at a temporary market, where these households were completing registration procedures and preparing to move to the newly built main market of Muong Xen.
Mr. Bui Tram, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ky Son district, said: This morning, the People's Committee of the district directed the urgent cleaning of the fire remnants, continued to maintain the market's operations to ensure business and trading needs of local people, visited and encouraged the families affected by the damage, determined the specific level of support for the affected traders to soon restore their shops; At the same time, directed the district police to focus on investigating the cause of the market fire.
