Ky Son, Nghia Dan mid-term review of implementing the Resolution of the District Party Congress
(Baonghean.vn) -On June 18, the Party Committee of Ky Son district held a mid-term review conference on the implementation of the Resolution of the 21st Congress, term 2010 - 2015. Attending and directing the conference was Major General Nguyen Xuan Lam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee - Director of Nghe An Provincial Police.
After half a term of implementing the Resolution of the 21st District Party Congress, Ky Son district has achieved encouraging results, with a growth rate of 7.5%/year; the total average rice output reached 310kg/person/year; the average income per capita reached 10 million VND/person/year; 21/21 communes and towns have car roads to the commune center.
During the past half term, 60% of households, 50% of villages, hamlets, and social organizations have met cultural standards; the material and spiritual life of the people has gradually improved; education has increased in scale and quality; health care for the people has received attention. The political system from the district to the grassroots has been consolidated and improved; the leadership capacity of Party committees at all levels and the management capacity of authorities at all levels have been improved... It is estimated that 21 targets have been met and exceeded, and 22 targets are difficult to achieve.
Overview of the mid-term conference
Assessing the half-term of Ky Son district, delegates said that some Resolution targets were low; the potential and strengths of the locality have not been well exploited to create a breakthrough in economic development. The quality of education is uneven; health care for the people still has certain limitations...
The central task of the District Party Committee in the last half of the term will focus on leading and directing the restructuring of crops and livestock towards the identified commodity direction;Effectively implement programs and projects according to Resolution 30a/CP and other programs and projects. Maintaindevelop traditional craft villages, promote socio-economic development associated with new rural development planning. The conference also focused on solutions to promote the direction of Party committees and authorities in socio-economic development; Concentrate capital sources to promote infrastructure investment in communes, actively contributing to sustainable poverty reduction.
Also on the morning of June 18, the Standing Committee of Nghia Dan District Party Committee reviewed and evaluated the results of the half-term implementation of Resolution XXVII of the District Party Committee and reviewed the role of the District Party Committee Standing Committee in leading and directing the implementation of the resolution of the District Party Congress. Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission attended and directed the conference.
During the past half term, the Party Committee and people of Nghia Dan district have made efforts to overcome difficulties, build solidarity within the Party, consensus in society; make good use of support to create breakthroughs in infrastructure construction, progress in education, health care... maintain national defense and security; achieve many results in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example. Nghia Dan has proactively built and issued 16 resolutions and thematic projects to concretize the Congress resolution... The Party Committee has maintained its strong title over the past 4 years. The Party Committee, Government and people of Nghia Dan district were awarded the First Class Labor Medal. Nghia Dan is gradually forming a new development area of the Northwest Nghe An region as the goal set out by the 27th Congress.
The conference also focused on analyzing and clarifying the shortcomings and limitations of some indicators in areas that have not been achieved, such as economic growth rate, total production value, rate of national standard schools, cultural families, poverty reduction rate...; not creating sustainability in agricultural production; Industry - handicrafts are still small-scale...
From pointing out the causes of limitations and shortcomings, the conference discussed and proposed solutions to complete political tasks in the remaining half of the term.
