According to statistics from the People's Committee of Ky Son district, as of 4:00 p.m. on August 31, in Keng Du commune, 2 houses were completely swept away by floodwaters, and in My Ly commune, 82 houses were flooded, of which 37 were deeply submerged in floodwaters and 10 houses had to be urgently evacuated. In addition, 4 villages were completely cut off and isolated, namely Yen Hoa, Xang Tren, Xop Duong and Cha Nga.

Right at the peak of the flood, the Ky Son district government and the People's Committees of My Ly and Keng Du communes mobilized forces to help people evacuate and move people and property to safety.
Currently, the water level of the Nam Non River has receded, but the recovery work is still facing many difficulties. In the immediate future, Ky Son district has directed the commune authorities to assign forces to be on duty and build shelters for households to have temporary shelter.
