Ky Son summarizes 20 years of implementing the Ordinance on reserve mobilization forces

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 29, the People's Committee of Ky Son district held a conference to summarize 20 years of implementing the Ordinance on reserve forces (1996-2016).

As a border district with many difficulties in economic development, the natural area is large, with 192 km of border line with 5 districts and 3 provinces of Laos, over 95% of the population are ethnic minorities. From the above characteristics, over the past 20 years, the Party Committee and the government of Ky Son district have clearly recognized the position, role and importance of paying attention to building and mobilizing reserve forces and implementing the Ordinance on reserve forces, thereby the district has implemented the registration and management of reserve soldiers of the district in accordance with regulations. The procedure for registration and management of technical means is implemented in a disciplined manner.

At the same time, to effectively implement the planning for building and mobilizing reserve forces, the District Military Command has arranged the staffing and added reserve soldiers to the reserve forces units to ensure quality and quantity.

Awarding certificates of merit to outstanding groups and individuals

At the conference, the delegates discussed, analyzed, and pointed out the shortcomings in the implementation of the DBDV Ordinance in the current period, and at the same time made a number of proposals and recommendations for competent authorities to study and supplement the contents so that the management of DBDV forces at the grassroots level becomes more in-depth and effective. On this occasion, the People's Committee of Ky Son district awarded certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 9 individuals with outstanding achievements in 20 years of implementing the DBDV Ordinance.
