These days, in the mountainous district of Ky Son, from the roads leading to remote communes such as Keng Du, My Ly, Na Ngoi, Nam Can... to both sides of National Highway 7, Party flags, national flags, and propaganda banners for the District Party Congress are brightly decorated.
As a mountainous district with many ethnic groups living together, such as Mong, Kho Mu, Thai, Kinh... in recent years, Ky Son district has made remarkable progress in socio-economic development, especially the National Target Program for New Rural Areas.
