National exam: Candidates have 5 admission rounds and 40 wishes
According to the Draft Guidelines for Organizing Full-time University and College Admissions in 2015 of the Ministry of Education and Training, there will be 5 admission rounds, including admission for the first wish and 4 admission rounds for additional wishes.
Specifically as follows:
- For admission to the first choice, universities and colleges receive applications from August 1 to August 20, and announce admission scores no later than August 25.
- For the first round of additional admission, schools will receive applications from August 25 to September 15, and announce admission scores before September 20.
- For the second round of additional admission, universities and colleges will receive applications from September 20 to October 5 and announce admission scores before October 10.
- Consider additional admission requests for the third round, from October 10 to October 25, announce admission scores before October 31.
- Consider additional admission requests for the 4th round, from October 31 to November 15, announce admission scores before November 20.
No later than December 31, 2015, universities, colleges and training institutions must report the 2015 enrollment results to the Department of Testing and Education Quality Assessment, Ministry of Education and Training.

More than 40 wishes
Candidates will receive 4 Certificates of High School Exam Results to apply for admission, including one for the first choice (NV1) and three for the additional choice. Candidates must use the original Certificate of Exam Results to apply for admission.
In the first choice, candidates can only use the NV1 exam result certificate to register for one school, each school can register for a maximum of 4 choices ranked in priority order from 1 to 4. During the 20 days of considering the first choice, if necessary, candidates can adjust the registered choice at that school or withdraw their application to register for another school.
Candidates who have passed their first choice are not allowed to register for additional choice admission rounds.
To participate in the additional admission, candidates can use three certificates of exam results for additional admission to register for up to three schools, each school can register for up to four wishes, ranked in order of priority from one to four.
During each additional admission round, candidates are not allowed to withdraw their application. After each admission round, if they are not accepted, they can withdraw their application to register for admission in the next additional admission round; Candidates who have been admitted to the school are not allowed to participate in the next additional admission round.
Thus, in each admission round, candidates have a maximum of 12 wishes. With three additional admission rounds, candidates can have a maximum of 36 wishes. The total number of candidates' wishes can therefore be up to over 40 different wishes.
Announce results every 3 days during the application period
When a candidate registers for more than one school, all of his/her wishes will be considered equally. If a candidate is eligible for admission to more than one registered wish, he/she will only be admitted to the wish with the highest priority in the candidate's registration list.
During the application period for each admission round, every three days, schools publish on their websites a list of candidates who have registered for admission to the school by major, ranked from highest to lowest in the exam results. The Ministry of Education and Training also encourages schools to publish provisional admission results updated to the date of publication.
