10th grade entrance exam: Huynh Thuc Khang High School has the highest competition rate

On May 17, Nghe An Department of Education and Training issued Document No. 883/SGD&DT - KTKĐCLGD on announcing the admission method to grade 10 of high schools and continuing education centers for the 2017-2018 school year.

Accordingly, based on the number of candidates registering for grade 10 admission at high schools, vocational education centers, continuing education centers and the enrollment quota of schools approved by the Department Director, the Department has a list of schools organizing entrance exams and schools organizing admission exams.

Specifically, in the upcoming 10th grade high school exam, the whole province will have 50 schools enrolling students into 10th grade by selection and 55 schools enrolling students by examination. Examination for high schools and vocational training centers with the number of students registering for admission exceeding the school's enrollment quota. Immediately after this result, the Department of Education and Training also requested the Departments of Education and Training to guide the junior high schools, ethnic minority boarding schools, and junior high schools in the area whose candidates have registered to take admission to high schools that recruit students by selection, and wish to take admission to ethnic minority high schools or Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School.
