Treatment of bone and joint pain in cold weather:
5-10g dried betel leaves (15-30g fresh leaves), boil 2 bowls of water until ½ bowl remains, drink during the day. Drink while the medicine is still warm, should be taken after dinner.
Each treatment course is 10 days. Or use 30g of betel leaves and roots of pomelo, trumpet creeper, and scratchgrass, all fresh, thinly sliced, fried until golden brown, boiled with 600ml of water, until 200ml remains, divided into 3 times to drink during the day. Drink continuously for 7 days.
Treatment of excessive sweating of hands and feet:
30g fresh betel leaves, wash, drain, put in 1 liter of water, boil for about 3 minutes, when boiling add a little salt, let it cool down and use to soak both hands and both feet regularly before going to bed at night. Do this continuously for 5-7 days. Or 30g betel leaves, finely chopped, fried until golden brown and buried in the ground.
Boil with 3 bowls of water until 1 bowl remains. Divide into 2 doses and drink during the day. Drink for 7 consecutive days. After stopping taking the medicine for 4 to 5 days, continue drinking for another week.
Treatment of dyshidrosis on hands:
30g fresh betel leaves, wash, crush, squeeze to get 1 bowl of concentrated water, drink during the day. Put the residue in a pot with 3 bowls of water, boil for about 5 minutes then remove the residue and set aside. Use the water to wash the area with dyshidrosis, then dry it, apply the residue and bandage it. Do this 1-2 times a day, continuously for 5-7 days.
Treatment of long-standing, non-healing boils:
Piper lolot, lemon leaves, taro leaves, perilla, each 15g. How to make: First, take the inner bark of the lemon tree (remove the outer bark), dry it, crush it, sift the powder and sprinkle it on the wound, then wash the above medicinal herbs, crush them and apply them to the area with boils and bandage. Apply once a day. Apply for 3 days.
Treatment of kidney edema:
20g of piper lolot leaf, 10g of Solanum procumbens, 10g of Atractylodes Rhizome ... Plantago asiatica, and 10g of Plantago asiatica. Boil with 500ml of water until 150ml remains. Drink during the day. Drink after lunch while the medicine is still warm. Use for 3-5 days.
Stomach ache due to cold:
20g fresh betel leaves, wash, boil with 300ml water until 100ml remains. Drink during the day while the medicine is still warm, preferably before dinner. Use continuously for 2 days.
Treatment of swollen and painful knees:
Piper lolot and mugwort, each 20g (use fresh), wash, crush, add vinegar, heat, apply, and compress on the swollen and painful knee.
