Lacazette scored twice, Arsenal easily beat West Brom

In the early morning of September 26, striker Alexandre Lacazette shone with a double, helping Arsenal defeat West Brom 2-0 at Emirates Stadium in the late match of round 6 of the English Premier League.

After this “near-miss” situation, Arsenal played better and opened the score thanks to Lacazette. In the 20th minute, Arsenal was awarded a direct free kick near the penalty area. Having conceded a goal, West Brom pushed up their attack to find an equalizer and the chances continued to come to the Gunners as the visitors' defense left many gaps. However, it was not until midway through the second half that Arsenal doubled the lead after a West Brom defender made a mistake by pushing Aaron Ramsey down in the penalty area.

In the 66th minute, from a move up the left wing, Ramsey carried the ball into the penalty area and was pushed down by defender Allan Nyom. The referee pointed to the 11m mark and Lacazette successfully converted the penalty, sealing a 2-0 victory for Arsenal.

With this win, Arsenal rose to 7th place with 10 points, 6 points behind the leading team Manchester City.
