Another earthquake causes strong tremors in Bac Tra My.
Over the past week, earthquakes have been occurring continuously in Bac Tra My district (Quang Nam province), bringing back previous anxieties among the local population.

On the morning of July 5th, Mr. Ho Van Loi, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Doc commune (Bac Tra My district), said that two consecutive earthquakes accompanied by loud explosions had just occurred in the commune.
“The two earthquakes were only about a minute apart. Each time, the ground shook violently for about six seconds. Sitting inside the stilt house, you could clearly feel the tremors. Recently, earthquakes have been happening frequently, and I, like many others, am a little worried,” Mr. Loi said.
Meanwhile, according to the Institute of Geophysics, the earthquake occurred at 4:46:59 AM on July 5th with a magnitude of 2.7 on the Richter scale.
According to the Institute of Geophysics, the earthquake occurred at coordinates 15.37 degrees North latitude and 108.092 degrees East longitude, with a focal depth of approximately 5.5 km, in the Bac Tra My district.
The Earthquake Information and Tsunami Warning Center (Institute of Geophysics) is monitoring this earthquake.
Earlier, at 1:18:49 AM on June 30th, an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.6 on the Richter scale occurred in Bac Tra My district. Approximately one minute later, at 1:19:38 AM on the same day, another earthquake with a magnitude of 1.7 on the Richter scale occurred.
In another development, the Institute of Geophysics reported that an earthquake also occurred in another location in Quang Nam province on the afternoon of July 4th.
Specifically, at 2:50:43 PM on July 4th, an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.5 on the Richter scale occurred in Que Son district, at coordinates 15.701 degrees North latitude and 107.989 degrees East longitude; the focal depth was approximately 7 km.
