An explosion at a chemical plant in eastern China's Zhejiang Province injured seven people on October 5, two of whom are in critical condition, Chinese authorities said, Xinhua reported.
According to sources, the explosion occurred at around 10:30 a.m. the same day at the Zhejiang Hongxiang Chemical Company in Shangyu City.
About 70 firefighters and 22 fire engines were rushed to the scene to put out the fire and prevent it from spreading to a nearby warehouse.
This warehouse contains 50 tons of flammable chemicals./.
