Harmful effects of gas

The culprit of gas poisoning is carbon monoxide (CO). With low concentrations spreading in the air, if anyone inhales it, it will quickly penetrate the blood. In a very short time, it takes over the red blood cells in the human body, binds to the hemoglobin to form carbon monoxide, causing the oxygen content in the body to decrease, causing a lack of oxygen in the brain.

When gas leaks, we can easily smell its characteristic strong odor. If the poisoning is mild, the patient will have symptoms of dizziness, headache, tinnitus, chest tightness and nausea. Severe poisoning, in addition to the above symptoms, also has the phenomenon of sweating, panic, pale skin, unsteady gait, decreased vision, the poisoned person falls into a coma, limbs convulse, purple skin.
