Being a bridesmaid 23 times, the female lawyer still has no intention of getting married.

Claudette Delacerna, 44, has seen dozens of couples say their wedding vows and has been a bridesmaid 23 times.

However, the single girl affirmed that she is not worried about marriage and is satisfied with her current busy life.

“Because I’ve been to so many weddings, there were times when I wondered if I wanted to do that. But now, I don’t care anymore,” Claudette shared.

The lawyer first became a bridesmaid in 1984 for her aunt Inday, when she was just 10 years old. In 1987, Claudette continued to be a bridesmaid for a relative and in 1990, she performed the same mission for her aunt Doris.

Since then, she has been asked to be a bridesmaid for her brothers, uncles, aunts, friends, and even her ex-lover's parents. Claudette has never once refused a role in her life.

“I can’t say no, even when I feel uncomfortable with myself. I’m not a dressy person, and it even feels a little strange to wear a lawyer’s outfit in court.

I do enjoy looking back at the pictures though. It makes me happy to see myself over the years with different weights and hair colors.

I'm not sure why I get asked to be a bridesmaid so many times. Maybe it's because my family is really big. I also have a really great group of close friends.

Plus, I don't have my own family or children, so I'm always willing to help,” Claudette confided.

Nowadays, most of Claudette's acquaintances are married. The lawyer also wanted to find someone special for herself, but after a long time living alone, she feels comfortable and happy with everything.
