Clarifying the "bomb" the subject brought into the bank to rob over 1 billion VND
Latest information from the Investigation Police Agency of Bac Giang Province Police, the bomb that the subject brought into the transaction office of a local bank to rob more than 1 billion VND was a fake bomb.
At around 3:00 p.m. on January 26, a young man riding a motorbike came to this transaction office and took out a piece of paper from his backpack with the words: "I have a bomb and a gun"; at the same time, he placed a gun and a box of bombs on the table, threatening the bank employee to give him money from the safe.

A bank employee had to take money from the safe and give it to the suspect, who quickly got on a motorbike and escaped towards the center of Bac Giang city.

Immediately after receiving the news, the Director of Bac Giang Provincial Police quickly directed forces to investigate. Bac Giang Provincial Police coordinated with the military to neutralize the bomb.

Initial investigation determined that the robber stole 1.1 billion VND. The bomb left at the scene was a fake bomb.
