(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 17, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department held a preliminary review of propaganda work in the first 6 months of the year and deployed tasks for the last 6 months of the year. Comrade To Hong Hai - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department chaired the conference.

In the first 6 months of this year, the propaganda sector has united and strived to successfully implement the set goals and plans, contributing to political stability, step-by-step economic, cultural and social development; maintaining national defense and security, and creating trust among the masses. The Propaganda Department at all levels has advised the Party Committees to effectively implement propaganda work; organized the study and dissemination of Resolutions of the 3rd and 4th Central Committees (term XI) and the Resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee. The Department has also advised the Party Committees to issue 68 documents to direct, guide and implement information and public opinion work; organized 6 conferences for reporters for nearly 1,000 propaganda officers and reporters in the province to promptly orient information and provide domestic and international news. The Propaganda Department at all levels has also advised the Party Committees to effectively direct and implement political theory education; culture - arts, press, publishing, science and education; research on Party history; advise the Party Committee and support departments to organize over 200 inspections, working sessions, and cluster meetings on the content of studying and working according to Ho Chi Minh's moral example.

To implement the tasks for the last 6 months of the year, the Propaganda Department at all levels will focus on advising the Party Committees to organize the study and implementation of Resolutions of the 5th and 6th Central Committees (term XI) and the Resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee; advising and coordinating with all levels and sectors to propagate ideological security work, religious work; propaganda about islands and border markers. The Department will also continue to improve the effectiveness of information and public opinion work; political theory education; culture - arts, press and publishing; Continue to promote the study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh in conjunction with the implementation of Resolution of the 4th Central Committee on "Some urgent issues in Party building at present". At the Conference, many delegates gave speeches and contributed to the direction and tasks of the provincial propaganda department in the last 6 months of 2012.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, comrade To Hong Hai explained and clarified a number of issues of concern to the conference and noted the need to strengthen state management of press information and promote propaganda activities at localities and grassroots levels.
