(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 15, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department held a meeting to summarize the propaganda work in 2014 and deploy tasks for 2015. Comrade Le Ba Hung - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and Comrade Bui Dinh Sam, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department chaired the meeting.

In 2014, in the context of implementing the task with some advantages and difficulties, but with the close attention and direction of the Party Committees at all levels, the propaganda work in Nghe An province successfully completed the assigned tasks. The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department consulted and synthesized hundreds of documents on 408 issues reported by the press, submitted them to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for comments, thereby directing the resolution of 245 issues; the propaganda work of districts, cities and towns also made many efforts.

In parallel with continuing to develop plans and propaganda projects in specialized fields, the Propaganda Department also coordinates with departments, branches, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and organizations to organize implementation to grasp information and orient public opinion. Agreeing with the proposal on a number of key tasks of Propaganda work in 2015, the Provincial Party Secretary noted and requested the Propaganda Department to direct the propaganda of the province's socio-economic achievements, good people, good deeds, and good business to strengthen the belief in the cause of innovation of the homeland and the country; coordinate with the Central press and media agencies to propagate and enhance the image of the province, strengthen coordination to help the poor and people in difficult circumstances; be proactive and flexible to refute distorted information and arguments of bad people; closely manage and effectively coordinate with press agencies to manage the team of reporters in the area... The Propaganda Department must stick to economic tasks to propagate effectively, creating consensus among the people when implementing projects.
