Lamborghini, Bentley withdraw from 2017 imported car show
Vietnam International Motor Show (VIMS) 2017 taking place at the end of October will have the participation of 7 imported car brands, after the withdrawal of BMW, MINI, Lamborghini and Bentley.
Vietnam International Motor Show (VIMS 2017) will take place from October 25 to 29 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC). This is the third year the exhibition has been held.
According to the organizers, seven car manufacturers have registered to participate, including Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Subaru and Volkswagen. Compared to 2016, this year’s exhibition has been reduced in scale as many car manufacturers have withdrawn, including Bentley, Lamborghini, BMW, MINI and Porsche.

Some models appearing for the first time in Vietnam such as the all-new Audi A5 Sportback, Jaguar F-PACE, Land Rover Evoque, Subaru WRX STI, Volkswagen Sharan... will be introduced at this exhibition. Two British brands, Jaguar and Land Rover, have registered to participate again, after announcing their withdrawal at the "89th minute" at last year's exhibition.
This year, the organizers will arrange a booth to display vintage cars, with many rare models. In addition, outdoor activities such as stunts, test drives, and car stunt shows will also be held in the outdoor space.

After two years of organization, Vietnam International Motor Show has been highly anticipated by the public thanks to the appearance of many expensive imported car models. In 2016, VIMS attracted 128,000 visitors.
The exhibition is open to the public from October 26 to October 29, from 9am to 6pm each day. Admission is 50,000 VND.
