Encroachment on Hoang Phan Thai Street: Why hasn't it been resolved yet?
(Baonghean) -Hoang Phan Thai Street, connecting Mai Hac De Street to Lenin Avenue, is an important traffic artery. In addition to serving local residents, it also meets the travel needs of thousands of students from schools: Military Region 4 Vocational College, Vietnam-Australia School and neighboring schools. In particular, this is also the road leading to the center of Nghi Phu commune, next to the road is Van Xuan Taxi Center, so the traffic density is very high.
According to the design, the road is 18m wide, but currently it is only 10m wide, and the worrying thing is that there are many overhanging canopies on the road, and electric poles lying in the middle of the road, causing danger to people and vehicles. Not only that, right at the curve connecting to Mai Hac De Street, some households also plant trees and place rocks on the road, on the opposite side there are 3 electric poles protruding into the middle of the road, making this already narrow intersection even narrower, more unsafe and causing frequent accidents. Everyone thought that in this campaign to liberate the traffic corridor and restore urban order, Vinh City would direct Nghi Phu Commune and related sectors to remove the above obstacles, but so far there has been no movement.
Is this road beyond the control of the government and relevant agencies?
We propose that Vinh City promptly inspect and take measures to remove the above obstacles, so that Hoang Phan Thai Street is clear and convenient for traffic, eliminating black spots of accidents, and worthy of being a civilized urban area.
