Depending on the specific conditions of each locality, blocks and hamlets in many communes and towns in Thanh Chuong have organized the wrapping and cooking of Chung cakes to give to children to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. Some hamlets wrapped and cooked the cakes from the 12th day of the 8th lunar month, while others did not cook until the 14th day of the 8th lunar month. On this occasion, people in block 5A, Thanh Chuong town wrapped 580 Chung cakes to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. In the spirit of volunteerism, families participated in contributing ingredients such as sticky rice, meat, dong leaves, green beans, etc. These days, people in the blocks and hamlets temporarily put aside their family work to join hands in wrapping Chung cakes.
