Lang Thanh invests 1 billion VND to clear traffic corridor

(Baonghean) - To meet the national criteria for rural traffic development, in 2012, Lang Thanh commune (Yen Thanh) mobilized each working-age person to contribute 150,000 VND to complete the clearance of corridors on all rural traffic routes.

In the first traffic campaign in 2012, the commune invested over 1 billion VND to complete the clearance of the corridor on the district road from the town to Duc Thanh, a 2 km long section passing through the commune.

Accordingly, 150 households on both sides of the road must cut down trees and dismantle solid structures within the boundary corridor, ensuring the road surface is 9 meters wide enough, with each side having a 1 meter wide ditch reinforced with concrete. Up to now, Lang Thanh has basically completed the work of clearing rural traffic.
